Main Duties & Responsibilities

REMOTE OPPORTUNITY for residents in the West Coast region (CA, WA, AZ, OR, CO, NV) with 50-75% travel ability.

Responsible
for regional sales and marketing of the company's products to ensure
continued profitable growth and strength of the business.

Responsibilities:

Develops, plans, and coordinates regional
sales and marketing strategies to meet business objectives and achieve maximum
results. Continually evaluates the timely adjustment of the marketing strategy
and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.

Provides planning and developing
order and quotation volumes, profit margin goals, and operating expense budgets
for a regional market.

Plans and organizes all
sales activities for a regional market to achieve or exceed the planned goals
for volume and margins.

Evaluate
the results being achieved and initiate organizational changes or any other
corrective action
necessary
to improve the sales effort.

Plans, establishes and maintains
a sound and effective regional sales capable of achieving desired sales
coverage, market penetration, and volume and margin goals.

Personally,
maintains contact with major customers and prospects to close a sale, promote
goodwill, or to
provide
a basis for continued or future business. Provides feedback to National Sales
Manager on
competitive
activities, pricing, product acceptance, etc. Implements a target account
program to ensure the
penetration
of large potential accounts.

Develops
and enters new markets as rapidly as circumstances permit.

Remains
sensitive to the needs of the regional market and ascertains whether changes
are required.
recommends
when appropriate company systems and equipment are suitable for use therein.

Provides
liaison and serves as coordinator between customers, prospects, and national
sales organization,
and
the company to ensure good communications and adequate information regarding
proposed sales or a
project
in process.

Participate
in the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of given selling
situations considering
degree
of potential technical and financial risk for the company.

Attend
trade fairs and shows to direct or participate in demonstrations of company
systems or equipment,
to
build goodwill for the company with customers or prospects, and to report on
competitive developments
as
observed at such functions.

Supports sales efforts beyond the assigned
geographic area as requested by the company President and/or the National Sales
Manager

Qualifications

Requires an associate's degree (bachelor's
degree preferred) in marketing or business and five (5) years of sales and/or
marketing experience.

Possesses a strong understanding
and exposure to sales of professional goods and services.

Possesses excellent writing
skills.

Understands the contracting
process, including credit and insurance risk, scope, terms, and conditions.

Excellent communicator both
orally and written with excellent presentation skills and experience.

Demonstrated experience in the development
of promotional materials.

CRM experience desired.

Physical Requirements: This position
requires the mental ability to read and comprehend policies, procedures,
instructions, etc., to write reports, to use logic and data to solve problems,
to assess needs, to communicate effectively, and varying degrees of
independence, judgment, and discretion. This position requires the physical
ability to be mobile in an office and industrial environment, to finger and
grasp materials, to speak effectively, and to listen with intent.
