The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The incumbent will provide secretarial and administrative support in busy Anatomic Pathology service. Duties and responsibilities include but aren't limited to, answering phones and directing all incoming calls to the appropriate party; communicate and handle incoming and outgoing electronic communications; assisting with the preparation of presentation materials; coordinating and scheduling
appointments, meetings and conferences and organizing itineraries as needed; preparing and distributing minutes. Will perform general secretarial responsibilities such as filing, copy, faxing, light typing and data entry. Will compile statistical reports by manipulating,
analyzing and coordinating data. Will manage and maintain database information, networked files and shared folders as well as extract, manipulate, revise and retrieve data as needed. Must maintain patient confidentiality In accordance with policy and procedure.

Responsibilities



  • 55% - Provide general secretarial and administrative support.
  • 20% - Prepare and compile statistical reports.
  • 20% - Manage database information, electronic, paper files and records.
  • 5% - Perform other duties necessary to the functions of the unit.


Minimum Qualifications



  • Two years of college or equivalent business experience plus a minimum of one to three years of related experience


Preferred Qualifications



  • Knowledge of Copath.
  • Typing 30-35 wpm preferred
  • Familiarity with website layout and upkeep.
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, and a self-starter.
  • Collaborative, effective listening skills, and supports an inclusive environment.
  • Bachelor's degree desirable



Other Requirements



  • Ability to work independently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
