WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Job Summary

The Security Operations Analyst role is pivotal in safeguarding our organization's data and systems. This position entails real-time monitoring and analysis of security events, actively identifying, investigating, responding to potential threats. Through meticulous vigilance and decisive action, the Systems Security Analyst fosters a secure and confidential environment for our organization

Roles and Responsibilities

* Maintains cybersecurity tools in accordance with Information Security policies and procedures.

* Assists in the development and implementation of security controls, security best practices, security hardening guidelines, and other needed security measures.

* Assists in creation and maintenance of role-based access control model for systems and applications.

* Conducts security vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.

* Monitors, analyzes, and responds to various security alerts and events or suspicious activity.

* Identifies, prioritizes, investigates, and escalates potential security incidents, including malware, phishing attempts, unauthorized access attempts, and privilege escalations.

* Performs root cause analysis to determine the source and scope of incidents.

* Monitors security response metrics and helps develops reports to deliver to executive leadership team.

* Contributes to the development and implementation of incident response plans and procedures.

* Assists in maintaining cybersecurity policies and procedures.

* Identifies opportunities and efficiencies in work processes and procedures.

* Stays up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends

* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor Degree

Experience: 1-3 years

Licenses and Certifications

Security+ preferred

Physical requirements

Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
