We are currently seeking the newest innovator to join our dynamic team as Bilingual Procurement Specialist located in Ft. Worth, Texas. This is an onsite position.

Position Summary:

LGEUS IPO (International Procurement Office) Team is looking for a Procurement Specialist to help LGE HQ procurement activities with suppliers in US for sourcing new suppliers in terms of Quality, Cost, Delivery, and new cutting-edge technology for LGE current and future products.

This role will be based in Fort Worth, TX, working onsite 5 days a week. We are a small team of 3, including a team lead directly reporting to HQ.

The team is looking for a candidate who is proactive, eager to learn, enjoys traveling to meet suppliers, and is relentless to achieve the goals.

What You'll Do:

Sourcing new suppliers in the areas of:



  • Quality, Cost, Delivery in HW, SW, Mechanical Parts, Raw Materials, etc.
  • New Suppliers for LGE's new business opportunities or expanding its business areas. (EV Chargers, Robots, HVAC, HPWH etc.)
  • Releasing RFQ to new suppliers and reviewing price quotes, delivering samples to HQ.


Sourcing and introducing new technology companies for/to LGE HQ:



  • New Technologies, New Features, Alternative methods, etc. for LGE's future products.
  • Managing procurement/purchasing issues with suppliers such as deliveries and shortages.
  • Collaborate with HQ procurement team to resolve Procurement/Purchasing/SCM issues in North America including areas such as price negotiation, supply disruption, new supplier registration etc.
  • Provide on-site support to HQ employees traveling to suppliers on business trips.


Market Intelligence:



  • Researching and reporting major semi-conductor suppliers, service providers, automotive manufacturers and consumer electronics related to LGE business through various channels including media.
  • Research and reporting in areas including quarterly sales records, semi-conductor industry news and market trends, foundry reports, automotive and consumer electronics latest trends including acquisitions, investments, blackouts, government policies and regulations to impact on LGE business.


Education and Experience Required:



  • Bilingual skills in Korean and English required.
  • 1-4 years of experience working in procurement / purchasing / sourcing of SW / HW (Semiconductor /Circuit components) or mechanical components related to consumer / white appliances / IT devices/ Industrial products such as TV, Automotive, Home Appliances, Robots, EV Chargers, HVAC, HPWH etc.
  • Frequent business trips are required to support LGE HQ teams' business trips to suppliers.


Preferred Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering highly preferred
  • Majoring in Engineering field or natural science preferred
