The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Solutions Architect in our B2B Information Display Technical Sales organization. The Solution Architect is responsible for providing comprehensive pre-sales support and design services for audio-visual (AV) projects. This role involves collaborating with sales teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to create effective AV solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards. The AV Solution Architect will be instrumental in project estimation, system design, and ensuring the proposed solutions align with client needs and budget requirements. This is a field/home office based role and will consider anyone within close proximity of a major airport (preference for central time zone).

What you will do;
* Pre-Sales Design Support: Provide expert design support during the pre-sales phase by assisting with the creation of system designs, conducting peer reviews of the Bill of Materials (BOM), and refining the scope of work to ensure clarity and accuracy.
* System Design: Develop detailed AV system designs, including schematics, equipment specifications, and integration plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
* Project Estimation: Work closely with the solutions enablement and project management teams to estimate project costs, considering all technical requirements, labor, and material costs to ensure accurate and competitive proposals.
* Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including system design packages, user manuals, and installation guides, to support project implementation and client handover.
* Collaboration: Liaise with solution enablement managers, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery, from design through to installation and commissioning.
* Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest AV technologies, trends, and industry best practices to continuously improve design quality and efficiency.

* Where Applicable:
* Support the pre-sales team in response to Requests for Information (RFQs and RFPs) from Specifiers, Channel Partners, and End-Users.
* Engage with clients to understand their AV needs, offer expert advice on the best solutions, and present design concepts that effectively address their challenges.
* Leverage Technical Sales team for custom solution ideas/creation
* Ideation of solutions to meet customer needs and/or market opportunities, utilizing LG display technology combined with other LG business solutions products, where applicable.

To be successful you will need;



  • Bachelors degree (technical subject preferred) or relevant work experience,
  • Minimum 6 years of technology industry experience (AV, Information Display, and Direct-View LED preferred)
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in solution design in a B2B technology industry. Experience with the construction/integration process a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Strong understanding of project/solution specifications.
  • Proficient with design software (Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUP preferred. Others a plus).
  • CTS certification preferred. Crestron and other technology certifications a plus.
  • Ability to travel 50% throughout the U.S (occasional international)
  • Fluent in English.
