The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Manager, Contractor Development, to join our Air Solutions team. This is a remote position with significant impact on our contractor network and overall business growth. As the Contractor Development Manager, you will identify and provide training opportunities along with resources to enhance contractors' business capabilities. Your goal will be to empower contractors with the knowledge and skills they need to improve their sales techniques, business operations, and overall performance.



  • Manage the identification, recruitment and continued development of the LG Pro Dealer program.
  • Maintain and execute contractor sales training modules including in-person training, online content, and evaluating courses.
  • Collaborate with the Distribution sales and training team to administer and enhance contractor training, retail sales training, and business operations training.
  • Design, execute, and continually improve the LG Pro Dealer onboarding process.
  • Ensure new contractors are seamlessly integrated into the program, receiving comprehensive training and support to meet all program requirements and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide a structured and efficient onboarding experience that accelerates contractors' proficiency and productivity.
  • Provide comprehensive training programs covering sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement strategies to ensure contractors possess the necessary skills to conduct effective in-home sales consultations.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify any gaps or deficiencies in current contractor opportunities and create new initiatives to address these gaps, enhancing the value provided to our residential contractor and distributor customers.
  • Take on a pivotal role in managing and nurturing the relationships between our vendors and distribution partners.
  • Ensure that both vendors and distributors are aligned in their goals and objectives by coordinating and facilitating effective communication.
  • Take on a leadership role in organizing and conducting "train the trainer" events, aimed at equipping our sales team and distribution Territory Managers with the necessary skills and knowledge to become effective trainers themselves.


Qualifications:

Required:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contractor development in the HVAC industry or related field.
  • Proficiency in the HVAC industry's best practices.
  • Demonstrated strong presentation skills, capable of clearly and effectively conveying information to diverse audiences.
  • Allow transparent engagement in order to inspire our partners and team, fostering strong relationships and driving enthusiasm.
  • Well-organized and capable of managing multiple relationships and tasks simultaneously, while being flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
