The Opportunity:

As an HR Information Systems Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team that oversees HR system platforms, including Core, Time Management, Benefits Administration, Payroll Taxes, Unemployment Claim, Applicant Tracking, Employee Recognition, etc. Your role will involve system enhancements, customizations, upgrades, and maintenance to ensure smooth operations. You will provide system admin support to users, oversee daily operations, and manage vendors. Additionally, you will maintain internal databases, develop custom reports, and provide specialized system support for HR Information Systems (HRIS) to all business entities. You will coordinate and lead system development, review system integrity, and advise on improvements or changes to meet changing workforce demands while leveling up from descriptive analytics to predictive analytics. You will address repetitive system user errors through coaching and suggest improvements and maintain connections with key stakeholders within each project.

As part of our HR Center of Excellence for North America, you will collaborate with HR peers to achieve business objectives including process improvement projects, system user coaching and error reduction creating a healthy, more product and committed environment.

Qualifications:

Required:



  • A deep understanding of employment regulations and standard HR and payroll practices is a prerequisite for this position.
  • To be successful in this role, you will utilize resourcefulness to leverage technology to overcome obstacles, implement modern workplace practices, and streamline operations.
  • Your well-developed communication and teamwork skills will enable you to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including internal departments and external clients.
  • You will utilize your successful background in HRIS systems management with expertise in conducting system performance measurements. This includes a passion for and ability to identify recommendations for new or enhanced functionalities of the platforms to meet business requirements.
  • You will utilize specialized knowledge of HR systems and analytics platforms to identify a roadmap that supports creating a highly productive culture and drives the department's overall KPI's including recruiting and retention.
  • You will apply your ability to demonstrate ROI and present a case to persuade the leadership team for their buy-in and support for change and improvement.
  • Your proven experience in system updates based on policies or requests and your ability to create specialized reports using BI tools will be required.
  • As a natural innovator, you will be required to identify ways to leverage platforms to meet operational needs, initiate changes for a smart workplace, and improve various process workflows.
  • In this role, experience in leading and coaching a team to be highly productive and engaged will be required.
  • Prior experience in HRIS with a bachelor's degree.
  • HR Certifications are a plus.
