The Opportunity:

LG Electronics is looking for a dynamic and skilled Business Manager to join our Service Sales Team. The primary goal of this role is to drive after-market sales and help the company achieve its financial targets by managing various aspects of the business. This position will work closely with senior leadership to develop comprehensive business plans and strategies, particularly focused on after-market categories such as parts and accessories (P&A). The Business Manager will identify current challenges, propose effective solutions, and recommend initiatives to enhance sales performance and profitability. Key focus areas include Process Development and Channel Management.

Responsibilities:



  • MAP Policy Development: Collaborate with the Director of Sales to create a thorough Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy.
  • Develop Authorized Parts Distributor and Retail Partner Channel: Identify and define both authorized and non-authorized partners for accessories and parts, ensuring alignment with MAP policies and LG's sales strategy.
  • Amazon Parts & Accessories Platform Evaluation: Partner with the Sales Team to analyze product placement, pricing, and competition on Amazon, leveraging reporting tools like Stackline, Keepa, and the Amazon platform.
  • Tertiary and OEM Channel Evaluation: Oversee the tracking of advertisements, pricing strategies, and site placement of third-party and OEM brands on Amazon.
  • Roadmap to Promotional Planning: Lead promotional events and collaborate with Sales and Finance teams to optimize profitability.
  • Strategic Planning & Partnership Management: Design and execute strategies to boost ESP sales and profitability in coordination with external insurance partners. Innovate and introduce new programs to expand the ESP portfolio.
  • Sales Channel Development: Establish and refine multiple sales channels for ESP.
  • Market Research & Pricing Strategy: Conduct market research to assess price competitiveness and customer sensitivity, adjusting ESP pricing to enhance profitability.
  • Program Optimization: Continuously review and enhance ESP terms and offerings to meet market demand and maximize sales.


Qualifications / Education / Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study.
  • Experience with Pricing Policies or legal expertise in the related area.
  • Proven experience in financial planning or strategic management, preferably within the consumer electronics or appliance industry (5+ years preferred).
  • Strong market research capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Advanced data analysis skills, including expertise in statistics and quantitative data interpretation.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and a positive mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for managing sensitive issues, ambiguity, and directional shifts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio (preferred).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence.
  • Bilingual in English and Korean (preferred).
