The Opportunity:

LG Electronics is looking for a Senior Manager of Quality Evaluation to lead its newly formed Product Quality Evaluation Team. The role involves recruiting talent, setting up testing facilities, and developing equipment infrastructure. The team will be responsible for overseeing the first lot arrival inspections for all new models expected to launch in the U.S. market.

Responsibilities:



  • Establish and maintain product evaluation testing facilities and equipment infrastructure.
  • Conduct inspections on incoming models expected to launch in the U.S. and report findings.
  • Lead the team in assessing and reporting on the development stages of new models, focusing on high-grade 3F evaluation: Fit, Feel, and Finish.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team.
  • Assess the product's usability, user interface, and overall user experience.
  • Evaluate smart functionalities, connectivity, and serviceability of the product.
  • Assess customer real-use performance, VOC (Voice of the Customer), and post-MP VOC.
  • Manage projects, including progress tracking, timelines, and budgeting.
  • Prepare and present reports to the senior management team.


Qualifications / Education / Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or electronics.
  • Proven experience managing teams.
  • 7 years of expertise in quality evaluation.
  • Proficiency with Internet tools, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and database management).
  • Strong creativity in identifying effective product evaluation techniques.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to change.
  • Capable of working independently and multitasking in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Work location: Huntsville, Alabama.
  • Travel may be required.
