Responsibilities

  • Support Integrated Product Teams (IPT's) and Engineering working groups that will review and assess the maturity of engineering Artifacts, CONOPs, System Interfaces, and Architecture products.
  • Assist with decision support and technical consultation, meeting coordination, and leading the development of initial recommendations for Government decision-makers.
  • Solves complex technical problems with innovative solutions.
  • Ensures compliance with client requirements and government standards through formal verification methods.
  • Translates high-level product strategies into detailed system requirements.
  • Learns and understands interfaces and integrates system elements for overall functionality.
  • Assesses system performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
  • Participates in conceptual design and documentation processes.
  • Participates in the testing process to validate requirements.
  • Participate in assembly, installations, and testing with occasional travel.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, operations research, engineering management, or related STEM degree program and 2-4 years of experience, or MS with 0-2 years of experience
  • Familiarity with industry space-based remote sensing capabilities.
  • Understanding of basic Digital Engineering concepts.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen: ability to relate professionally inside the work environment.
  • A passion for learning, helping others, sharing team knowledge, and contributing value to the mission in any way possible.

Preferred:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Experience with EO/IR optical calibration.
  • Experience with thermal control and design.
  • Experience with customer design reviews.
  • Experience with launch, early orbit, and on-orbit operations.
  • Experience with developing and refining CONOPs.
  • Agile development experience.
  • ABLE TO OBTAIN and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience with supporting National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)

Equal Pay Act

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, Arcfield invests in its employees beyond just compensation.
