JOB MISSION:

As a stockroom support associate, you will be responsible for shipping and receiving materials. You will perform a wide variety of tasks related to material handling that supports the manufacturing, and shipping and receiving departments. Related tasks include but not limited to processing of work orders, troubleshooting and fact finding, managing inventory, interacting with key internal customers, and processing and documenting appropriate paperwork and schedules pertaining to shipments and deliveries.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Sort, pack, deliver materials and supplies in a timely manner to designated areas.

  • Verify packing list materials, conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.

  • Inform supervisor of any quality or productive issues and discrepancies and work to resolve them.

  • Uphold neat and orderly stock.

  • Perform data entry as needed.

  • Detect and report any improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions.

  • Follow safety rules and regulations and maintain quality standards.

  • Cross train in other areas of the Shipping/Receiving, Stockroom and Webbing area.

  • May perform additional related duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • High School diploma required.

  • Minimum 3-5 years related work experience.

  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and e-mail required.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Physical ability to lift moderate to heavy weighted materials and stand for long periods of time.
