Job Description
The Opportunity The Department of Physical Sciences at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach Campus, invites applications for a 9-month non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Chemistry position. The position is available beginning in Fall 2025. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related field, and be able to teach general chemistry and possibly upper-level chemistry courses. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to innovative undergraduate teaching, dedication to mentoring, and an interest in service to the education community. The expected teaching load will be 24 credits (8 sections) per academic year, typically distributed as four 3-credit courses per semester.
