Job Description

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Missouri-Columbia invites applications for one postdoctoral position to start in Fall 2025. The initial appointment is for two years and can be extended to the third year subject to the budgetary approval. The appointment carries a 2+1 teaching load or equivalent.

Candidates from all areas of mathematics are welcome to apply. The committee is particularly interested in applicants whose area is already represented in the department. Successful applicants who are non-native speakers of English must pass an oral-language assessment administered by the University of Missouri.

Qualifications

A Ph.D. in Mathematics or equivalent is required by the time of appointment.
