FTE: 1.0, Shift: Days, Schedule: Monday-Friday with rotating weekends, Day shift Position Summary The Manager of Nutrition Services has 24/7 responsibility for the provision of food and nutrition services for patients and retail customers for an assigned facility or Independent Business Unit (IBU) in compliance with all applicable regulations and department standards. The Manger develops, coordinates, and implements high-quality, cost-effective food and nutrition services; oversees operations; assures successful outcomes with The Joint Commission and DOH inspections; develops and monitors budgets; manages staff and continually improves processes and procedures. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Business, Hotel Restaurant or related field Master's degree or masters preparation in dietetics, business, or related field preferred Five (5) years of experience in food service setting Three (3) years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity Specialty certification (CNSC, CSP, CDE, etc) required or obtained within first 18 months of placement in position Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness and Joy. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $99,549.00 - $143,229.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
