We are seeking a Salesforce Platform owner to serve as the cornerstone of our new Salesforce Platform management and be accountable to the organization for its success. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management, enhancement, and operational efficiency of our Salesforce environment. This position will serve as the steward and SME of the Salesforce platform within the organization to provide strategic guidance to business and governance stakeholders. This role requires a blend of technical prowess, strategic vision, and hands-on delivery to ensure the platform aligns with and supports our business objectives.
Qualifications: *Bachelor's Degree required. Will consider professional experience in lieu of education. *Five (5) years' experience in a leading role in delivering Salesforce projects. *Three (3) years' experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager. *Three (3) years' experience working directly with business stakeholders. *Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales and Services Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Communities, and other CRM technology solutions. *Industry experience in banking or financial services. *Proven ability to develop and execute tactical plans in support of strategic roadmaps. *Understanding of the various user needs, products, and end-to-end process flows, including other systems that may integrate with the platform. *Proven ability to translate a product vision into an action. Can effectively explain and communicate technical and abstract topics to business, development, management, and executive teams. *Strong communication, negotiation, and consensus-building skills *Strategic thinker, capable of articulating platform value and engaging with stakeholders at all levels. *Knowledge of, and experience in leading projects or delivering work with a focus on user-centered design via both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. *Excellent ability to coach, motivate and direct work tasks to a multi-disciplinary team of professionals. *Active in the Salesforce community; Salesforce Administrator certification preferred. Principal Activities and Duties: *Serve as the main representative of the Salesforce platform to both business and governance groups. *Clearly define the strategic vision and manage the product roadmap for the Salesforce platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. *Manage Salesforce vendor relationships. *Stay abreast of new tools, capabilities, and updates within the Salesforce platform to continuously leverage technology to foster business excellence. *Lead project teams to conduct and facilitate the necessary research, workshops, and analysis to fully understand the business needs and requirements. Ensure that the requirements defined by the teams translate into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience. *Work with the delivery team to write and refine user stories. Ensure that the team understands the context of the stories in the backlog and that the team has adequate information to deliver the stories. *Demonstrate the latest iterations to business teams, gather feedback and confirm that the product being delivered meets the customer's needs. *Develop and maintain a comprehensive backlog of enhancements and fixes, prioritizing according to business impact and value. *Monitor and drive user adoption and platform usage across the organization. Maintain adoption and data-quality dashboards, and strategies for continuous improvement. *Work to remove, resolve and mitigate barriers, issues and risks that impact the successful implementation of the product and its ecosystem. *Coordinate all Salesforce training for users and stakeholders, including all platform changes and enhancements. *All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by Dollar Bank's risk management program.
