The Job/What You'll Do:

The Transfer Analyst is responsible for owning the improvement and optimization of our transfer process. This role requires a high level of expertise in transfer activities, including incoming and outgoing transfers, ACAT, non-ACAT, DTC, asset transferability, and cost basis, with a strong focus on customer service, accuracy, and speed. As the Transfer Analyst, you will work closely with those processing transfers and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization in order to identify workflow and system improvements and engage resources to enact change.

We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to our Phoenix, AZ office.

Responsibilities:

  • Constantly evaluate and measure the transfer process, driving down cost and cycle time, increasing accuracy, and aligning the process with customer expectations through continuous improvement.
  • Identify workflow and system improvements and enact change.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing transfers.
  • Monitor and analyze transfer data, providing regular updates and reporting to management on transfer activity.
  • Participate in system and process improvement initiatives, including testing and implementation of new systems and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, policies, and procedures related to transfer activities.
  • Implement and maintain best practices, policies, and procedures related to transfer activities.
  • Ensure all KPI metrics are achieved and SLAs are met.
  • Keep audit narratives, backup information, and sign-offs up to date for Service Organization Controls.
  • Maintain relationships with industry partners and vendors.
  • Oversee Transfer processes and provide training, workflow management, and procedure documentation.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of all Transfer practices.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, computer-literate, and proficient in Excel and Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong track record of high-quality execution.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

Education & Experience:

  • Advanced knowledge of all Transfer processes, including incoming and outgoing transfers, ACAT, non-ACAT, DTC, asset transferability, and cost basis.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of industry or Transfer experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Subject matter expertise in Transfers, Operational Audits, and Investment Industry Reporting technologies, processes, vendors, best practices, and general requirements.
  • Experience with process excellence and tools.
  • Six Sigma Certification or Experience.
  • DMAIC Process Improvement Approach Experience.
  • Experience Mapping Out Processes.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, interpret, report and communicate data quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced environment and can effectively prioritize, manage, and identify risk.

Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $65,000-$75,000.

This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
