ABOUT THE ROLE

SC Johnson is a global leader in the Pest Control category, and we are looking for an agile and courageous marketer to help us write the next chapter of growth! As the Brand Equity Manager for our new STEM brand, you will lead the engagement with our agencies, setting the long-term communication strategy, developing timeless brand platforms that bring our purpose to life and timely communication programs that speak to our growth audiences, developing annual media-to-cart plans and overseeing execution across all touch points. In this role, you will also manage brand A&P budget, ensuring right allocations across tactics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define brand purpose and put in place strategic initiatives that bring it to life

  • Define long term communication strategy, including Jobs-to-be-done and growth audiences

  • Lead engagement with agencies, hosting agency days, providing feedback and fostering integration

  • Lead creative development from briefing to execution, including Legal & GSARA approval

  • Brief IAT and oversees execution across touch point, including newsrooms

  • Brief Shopper teams and oversees execution across touch point, including e-commerce

  • Manage SOW and OOP$ Budget, including recommendation allocation and tracking spend

  • Track creative performance through Brand Health Tracker, MMA, etc. and adjust plan timely

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of related work experience or 5+ years with an advanced degree

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • MBA preferred

  • Prior Brand Management experience and other commercial roles (eg: shopper, sales, etc)

  • Prior experience with agency management

  • Agile, curious, courageous, creative, self-starter

  • High sense of urgency

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full-time onsite position, office environment, core hours: 9 - 3

  • Remote work available once a week for eligible employees

  • This role is eligible for domestic relocation
