About the Role:

Due to our continued growth, we are adding to our team! Reporting to the Title Operations Manager, our title operations team is made up of well organized, ambitious, detail-oriented individuals who create a team environment by exercising communication skills throughout the day to effectively take care of our members. It's the Title Associates responsibility to follow established policies and procedures as well as state and federal legal and regulatory requirements for title maintenance and releasing of interest. The Title Associates work closely with our loan processors, business partners, state and federal title agencies and other stakeholders to secure the credit unions interest related to vehicle, recreational and marine titles as well as UCC filings. The Title Associates will assist members regarding questions they may have with their title.

This position will work at our Corporate Cove location in Wausau, Wi. You will be eligible to work from home in a hybrid role, which will require working 2 days in office and 3 days at home.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively process, perfect, and perfect all related credit union security interests related to vehicle, recreational, and marine titles and UCC filings.

• Meet or exceed established individual and department performance goals, metrics, service level expectations, and timeframes.

• Responsible for ensuring credit union title operations perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, state and federal legal and regulatory requirements.

• Effectively utilize forms and processes required by each state and develop a knowledge base and proficiency to better serve members across the country.

• Effectively interact and utilize the processes of third-party business partnerships, state and federal title agencies, and other stakeholders related credit union security interests.

• Perform all duties and responsibilities within individualized and department goals and procedures to achieve desired performance, quality control, and operational excellence.

• Effectively and efficiently perform duties to record, track, report, retain, monitor, assess, and release credit union security interests within established timeframes.

• Identify and report procedures and processes improvement ideas to your manager.

• Develop skills and capabilities to respond to member and related stakeholder inquiries on title status, answering questions, or providing the proper documentation to complete title requirements.

• Respond and assist to internal, member, and related stakeholder inquiries and requests related to their titles, registrations, or lien releases and complete adequate follow up to resolve any discrepancies.

• Assist other departments with lien related activities to ensure proper controls and lien filings are accurate and completed as needed.

• Follow established authorizations and controls and processes for the department.

• Provide exceptional service to vendors, state, and county offices, Connexus employees, and members while answering questions and resolving issues.

• Present and discuss informational topics at department meetings and training.

• Lead special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is Required.

• 2+ years of loan or title related processing within a financial institution or related industry is Required.
