Overview The Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities (Cuyahoga DD) is seeking several full-time Support Administrators (SA) to work specifically in our FLOAT assignment. The Float SA is a position that takes cases on a temporary basis to help cover work when the assigned SA is temporarily on leave or when the assigned SA leaves their position due to taking another position at the Board or leaving the Board. The nature of this position is to step in and take over immediate planning needs and to be available to the person / guardian as needed, until a permanent SA can be assigned. SA's facilitate the development of person-centered plans for individuals that promote self-determination. Develop, authorize and revise a personal budget based upon needs and outcomes identified in the plan. Assist individuals and their families to explore and obtain services and supports. Implement an ongoing system of review. The nature of work for all SAs will include, but is not limited to, the following:
Act as the primary point of coordination for the person-centered planning team. Utilize an assess/plan/review/revise process to help teams plan for each individual assigned.
Unusual Working Conditions: Employee will be required to drive extensively both within and beyond Cuyahoga County in order to perform the duties of a Support Administrator. Therefore, access to reliable transportation (personal vehicle) is a necessity and essential function of this position. Planning meetings will be held in individual/family homes, throughout the community and during the evenings and weekends. START DATE: The Cuyahoga DD hires Support Administrators in groups, or what we refer to as "waves." The next target date for onboarding Support Administrators will be Monday, January 13, 2025. This means if you are interviewed and considered for this position, you must be willing and able to begin working full-time for this agency on January 13, 2025. This agreement takes into consideration not only the education and experience of the applicant but also internal equity for our existing employees. The typical starting salary for a New Hire holding a BA degree is $51,385. The typical starting salary for a New Hire holding a MA degree is $52,927. If a current Support Administrator is selected for this specialty assignment, their salary would remain the same as this would be a lateral move financially. Although we do permit some remote work at home with flexible, hybrid work schedules for some of our positions, we do expect staff to be able to commute to our facilities in Cuyahoga County, Ohio on a regular basis. We have facilities in Parma, Cleveland, and Highland Hills, Ohio. All employees will be based in one of these three cities. We do not currently offer any fully remote positions. All positions come with the expectation that the employee will work onsite at an assigned facility in Cuyahoga County some days each week as directed. Qualifications
