Position overview: We are seeking a results-driven Inside Sales Manager to lead a dynamic team focused on driving pipeline and bookings for new small school districts. This role is ideal for a sales leader with a passion for coaching and developing high-performing sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sales methodologies and a proven track record of using data to drive key performance indicators (KPIs) and consistently achieve quota.

Specific roles and responsibilities:



  • Pipeline & Bookings Management:

    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive pipeline growth and increase bookings within net new small school districts. Monitor team performance, ensuring consistent pipeline creation and management across all sales stages.


  • Coaching & Development:

    • Act as a true people manager by coaching team members on effective sales methodologies, techniques, and strategies. Regularly provide actionable feedback and foster a culture of continuous improvement, enhancing individual and team competencies.
    • Demonstrate a solid understanding of modern sales methodologies and techniques, such as consultative selling, solution selling, and value-based selling. Train and guide the team on implementing these methodologies to achieve superior sales outcomes.


  • Data-Driven Leadership:

    • Utilize sales data and analytics to identify trends, forecast results, and drive success with KPIs. Interpret key metrics to make informed decisions that drive sales performance and refine sales strategies. Ensure the team is on track to meet or exceed sales targets.Use data to identify areas of opportunity, address performance gaps, and recognize achievements.


  • Quota Achievement:

    • Motivate and guide the team to achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas. Develop strategies for overcoming objections, closing deals, and penetrating new markets within the small school district sector.


  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Partner Success teams to align strategies, identify opportunities, and improve the overall sales process. Share feedback from the market to enhance product positioning and messaging.


  • Occassional domestic travel


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, with successful track record of hitting or exceeding quota.
  • Proven track record in driving pipeline and bookings growth, particularly within net new market segments.
  • Strong understanding of effective sales methodologies, including consultative selling and change management as an approach to selling.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting data and metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
