Job Summary

Designs, develops, analyses and maintains the LMS to achieve business objectives. Participates in new implementation efforts, ensuring existing system integrity. Resolves system processing issues and identifies process enhancements required to improve operational efficiencies. Implements solutions to leverage technology and integrate new functionality. Responsible for developing and maintaining LMS related reports and responding to a variety of data requests from across the organization. Ensures the LMS support the business' needs in providing information, tools, and resources to customer. Provides support for the strategic initiatives of the organization.

Essential Functions

  • Evaluates, analyses, maintains, and audits employee records ensuring data integrity. Serves as a resource for integration of other systems and products and their relationship with the learning management system. Responsible for integration of data.

  • Oversees database import maintenance and monitors data for accuracy. Prepares files for import as needed.

  • Develops and implements new functionality and processes to the learning management system for improvement and use. Serves as liaison for operational needs and issues. Participates in consulting projects including execution of system changes and project initiatives.

  • Compiles, analyzes and evaluates learning management system data to prepare statistical and informational reports. Develops ad hoc and specialized reports.

  • Operates as an internal resource to LMS administrators and management staff for all functionalities of the learning management system and associated products. Provides training.

  • Provides technical assistance to all staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and user problems. Maintains computers and software of the learning stations.

  • Provides support as needed for student group and assignment development within the learning management system and associated products.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

  • This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, man

  • ager, director or executive.

  • Minimum Requirements

  • Education - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or Healthcare related field of study.

  • Experience - Five (5) years of Database IT or Learning Management System experience

In Lieu Of

  • In lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above, an Associate degree and three (3) years of extensive large scale LMS administration experience may be considered.

  • In lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above, Post-Secondary IT Coursework in related field with three (3) years of experience may be considered.

  • NA

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Familiar with a variety of education concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Advanced excel skills

  • Report writing experience - preferred
