The Member Services and Reservations Representative will support the daily operations of the Estate Wine Club, while providing reservation support for all consumer experiences. This role will be pivotal in developing and maintaining brand loyalty for the Pahlmeyer brand through phone, email and cellarpass ensuring world-class service to our members. As a representative of our Wine Club in the tasting room, you will build strong relationships with members and facilitate successful DTC order fulfillment, including managing club batches and inventory. This role is responsible fordeveloping shipment collateral and packaging materials to enhance the consumer experience. You'll maintain an understanding of the availability of consumer/trade experiences and recommend alternative options when necessary to ensure member satisfaction. Additionally, you'll offer recommendations for local accommodations and assist with wine purchases tailored to consumer needs. Your role will involve assisting with consumer events to boost membership acquisition and retention. You'll ensure accurate completion of membership incentive reporting and resolve order compliance issues, contributing to our overall business goals.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Hourly Range Posted: $27.79 / hr - $37.50 / hr + quarterly sales incentives
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

What You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of retail sales, hospitality,sales support, marketing support, administrative support, or customer service experiencereflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Associates Degree plus 2 year of retail sales, hospitality, sales support, marketing support, administrative support or customer serviceexperience; OR Bachelors Degree.
  • Skilled in the use of MS Outlook at an intermediate level.
  • Skilled in effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups ofmanagers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, shortcorrespondence and memos.
  • Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
  • Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
  • Required to lift and move cases of product weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Required to be 21 years of age or older
  • Required to travel to various winery sites within the region based on business need.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training,meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of thetime, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, ifapplicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable,as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business plus 2 years of retail sales, hospitality, sales support,marketing support, administrative support or customer service experience.
  • Wine sales or Wine club administration experience.
  • Wine Industry knowledge.
  • Experience with software programs such as Ship Compliant, Wine Club Manager, E-WinerySolutions Ellipsis or member databases/related systems.
