Position Type: Seasonal - Full Time Wage Range: $17.00 to 19.00 Supervisory: No Supervised By: Warehouse Manager POSITION SUMMARY: Assist Warehouse Manager in daily operations i.e. shipping, receiving, delivery, and procurement of goods. Applicants must be 21 years or older. Job offer is contingent on the results of a background check of your Driver Record as well as a pre-employment drug screen. Primary Responsibilities: Receive merchandise, log, shelve and deliver merchandise to various locations at Schweitzer Mountain Resort. Prepare outgoing packages for shipment and record daily shipments in logbook. Place purchase orders with vendors when Warehouse Manager is absent. Responsible for performing accurate stock transfers and maintaining inventory control system. Operate company vehicles for on mountain deliveries and in town pickups. Assist in coordinating purchase requests with internal and external departments. Organize warehouse for efficient use of space and maintain cleanliness of warehouse (mop, sweep and remove trash). Rotate stock based on first in first out principle to ensure products do not expire and or spoil. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Show up to work in a timely manner. Send emails to venders or managers. Enter data into inventory control system. Provide troubleshooting for department managers on inventory control system. Operate a snow cat for remote location deliveries. Stock and maintain vending machines. Responsibilities are listed as guidelines and the position is not necessarily limited to these items. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SKILLS: Computer literate. EDUCATION: Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Able to perform basic arithmetic. Extensive knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities and events is preferred. EXPERIENCE: Prior experience in warehousing, food handling procedures, and data entry is preferred. LICENSE NEEDED: Valid driver license. Requirements: A clean motor vehicle report is required to operate vehicles owned by Schweitzer. Passing of a drug screen is required to operate a snow cat. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lift objects up to 50lbs between 4-6 hours per day. Lift objects heavier than 50lbs occasionally. Can walk and stand at will; will bend, squat climb and twist frequently. Will kneel rarely. Will use hands for grasping and fine manipulation. All sensory skills are needed. Worksite is 60% outside and 40% inside. Exposed to all temperatures and ice/snow/rain. Must be able to sit/drive truck for up to 4 hours at a time. MACHINES OR TOOLS OPERATED: Company vehicles that are 4-wheel drive, hand truck pallet jack, and snow cat.
