The Department of Surgery seeks an Event and Special Project Coordinator. The incumbent will serve as lead in conceptualizing, planning, and executing events designed to engage, cultivate, and steward our employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering events and will be a strong collaborator and communicator. They will be highly motivated and organized, innovative, detail-oriented, flexible, and inspired by our shared goal of engaging and recognizing the contributions of our workforce. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
This is a part-time position at 20 hours per week. Some evening and weekend hours are required with this position. Position also requires access to personal vehicle that can be used to transport event supplies from storage facility to event venues, etc. The position will remain open until filled. This is a non-exempt level, benefited position. This is a restricted position; continuation is dependent on funding and satisfactory performance.This position is located in Charlottesville, VA and is eligible for a hybrid schedule.
