Description The position is primarily responsible for design, installation, operation, and maintenance of Padagis US Facilities, with a focus on security and life safety systems. This includes all hardware, software, and related infrastructure for access controls, cameras, fire suppression, and fire/smoke/water/burglary/temperature/humidity alarms. The position will also support facility HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Job duties: Ensure facility, security, and life safety systems are operating and maintained properly and are compliant with Local/State/DEA/FDA regulations, meet insurance company requirements, and comply with all applicable safety and environmental policies Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex and technical Facility related issues Lead and participate in facility/security related capital and/or continuous improvement projects as assigned (hardware/software upgrades, system and device replacements, facility renovations, manufacturing expansions, etc.) Collaborate with Management, EHS, and local authorities to develop and implement effective emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, and assist with regular drills to ensure preparedness. Coordinate vendor contracts and onsite work, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising safety or compliance Respond to and resolve facility-related emergencies or disruptions promptly, minimizing impact to operations Support the Facilities Engineering Manager in decision-making processes by providing data analysis and technical insights Required qualifications: Since its beginning, Padagis has been undergoing the process of identifying what we believe will lead to the success of our organization in a competitive landscape. Additional requirements: 3+ years of experience in Facilities Engineering or related field Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field). Basic knowledge of security, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Strong oral and written English communication skills Experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment Working knowledge of current safety, environmental, FDA, and DEA regulations in the pharmaceutical industry Proven ability to solve complex facility related issues Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Must be authorized to work in the United States About us: At Padagis our focus is on health care products that improve people's lives.
