Position Summary
Organization: Supportive Housing Coalition of New Mexico Location: 1717 Louisiana NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110 An Off-Campus Work-Study Position - MUST have a Work-Study Award SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Administrative Manager or designee, the Administration Specialist provides administrative support to all departments and directing incoming phone calls, emails, and office visitors to the correct department and staff member.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greet office visitors Answer inquiries in a professional manner Maintain a log of inquiries, calls, and other communications Perform clerical, data entry, and word processing work Assist with records management, including filing, copying, and scanning May schedule or assist in scheduling appointments and meetings Support with social media, events, and mass communication Other duties as negotiated WORK ENVIRONMENT Most essential duties are performed in an office environment with exposure to a variety of business equipment and other pertinent materials normally found in this type of work setting; need to have effective manual dexterity to operate various business equipment Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time Work is normally performed in an area permitting partial-to-total privacy

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Able to communicate with diverse groups of people to include staff and providers Able to work on a variety of assignments concurrently within established deadlines Knowledge and skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and accounting software Able to maintain the confidentiality of records, memoranda, verbal communications, analytical data and information Ability to cooperate fully with laws, regulations, and all SHCNM compliance expectations
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent Experience in an office environment preferred Those with lived experience with housing needs, behavioral/ mental health, and/or disabling conditions are encouraged to apply
