Job Summary:
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering seeks to hire a faculty member with expertise in developing, advancing, and employing artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) algorithms for next-generation electronics and chip design. Key AI/ML-driven areas of interest include but are not limited to chip design methodologies and tools, system-level design, chiplet-based heterogeneous integration, design of advanced chips for high-performance computing, and electronic design automation. Outstanding candidates at all levels (Assistant, Associate, Full Professor rank) will be considered. Responsibilities: Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and contributing to curriculum updates and innovations that are inclusive of our diverse student body; mentoring graduate students and supervising their research; developing and directing a successful, extramurally funded research program; participating in departmental and university shared governance; and contributing to professional and public service.
