Responsibilities

Job Summary
This position works within the Finance/Payroll IS team and acts as an analyst working as a liaison between the Finance/Payroll Operations team and IT in order to ensure all Finance/payroll systems are functioning, optimized and upgraded across the HonorHealth organization. This position will work closely with the Finance and Payroll team as well as vendors and business partners, supporting the maintenance, customization and upgrading of all finance/payroll systems. This position will spend a proportionate amount of time participating in projects and performing complex system change impact and data analyses, providing functional support and deep expertise to the Finance/Payroll Operations team including process training, and remainder of time on technical items such as system upgrades, system integration and opportunities for implementing automation and streamlining business processes.
  • Provide end user support for all payroll systems as well as configuration, maintenance and upgrade support. Administer the Dollar Reporting portion of Outcome Analytics in the API/Symplr system (LaborWorkx). Communicate with Vendors on system updates/break fixes, managing vendor cases and working them as prioritized by leadership. Troubleshoot data issues, handle integration errors and system malfunctions ensuring all errors are researched, and reported to leadership, HR and IT when necessary. Execute ad hoc reporting for internal and outside legal counsel, and senior management. Ensures data integrity and quality of all data within the finance/payroll systems Participates in the development and planning of processes to address and solve user's business and system needs. Anticipate the needs of those this position supports and complete assigned tasks with a high degree of accuracy with minimal direction.
  • Implement system change requests and troubleshoot production incidents. Assist and test with finance/payroll system upgrades, patches, and other technical projects as well as all integrations. Research and implement best practices from a technology standpoint utilizing delivered functionality where possible as assigned by leadership. Establishes quality/quantity measures, levels, and standards and monitors them regarding output. Manages and measures the risk of data corruption or interruption due to upgrades, database interfaces or changes to payroll methodologies.
  • Develop custom reports from Microsoft Sql Server systems (develop, publish, maintain, troubleshoot)
  • Continually acquires knowledge of specific application software, trains team members, communicates with internal users. Identify and execute automation opportunities for removing manual work and streamlining processes where possible.

Education
Bachelor's Degree or 4 years finance/payroll experience from a technical background in high volume payroll processing and time & attendance systems Required

Experience
2 years Payroll, HRIS, Finance analyst level experience Required
