We are seeking dedicated candidates to join our Salon team at Bellagio as On Call Salon Assistant. This role provides a unique opportunity for entry level stylist or students pursuing a cosmetology license, to learn from highly regarded, and skilled Hair Stylists at a luxury property. THE JOB:

Asa On Call Salon Assistant at Bellagio, you are an essential part of guest experience. Your approachable, and personable demeanor, coupled with your dedication to assist our Hair Stylists, and deliver exceptional services will set the stage for the memories that they can carry with them well past their stay with us. By delivering top-notch guest experiences and maintaining station presentability you play a crucial role in elevating the overall guest experience.

THE STARTING PAY: $12 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Assist Salon Hairstylist providers as requested with various services including styling, chemical services, shampooing guests, and the preparation of supplies for services
• Maintain working knowledge of hair products, and familiarity with latest trends and techniques to meet guest requests and maximize learning, and career growth opportunities
• Cultivate premium guest experiences through positive interactions and offerings such as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Ensure alignment of departmental policies and procedures including safety and sanitation policies
• Remove soiled linen from hampers, and assist with washing, drying and folding of linen to include hair towels, capes and aprons
• Upkeep a safe and clean environment, removing used items and linen, while upholding adequate stock levels and replenish supplies as needed
• Report any opportunities for improvement to Spa & Salon Leadership
• Perform other job-related duties as requested

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Is invested in obtaining valuable work experience, and pursuing future growth opportunities as a Hair Stylist in a luxury resort setting
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Has a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent working experience
• Must currently hold or be willing to obtain a Food Handlers and TAM Card
• Currently holds, or is in the process of obtaining a Nevada issued Cosmetology license
• Has a flexible schedule and the ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
• Is team-centric and personable
