Employee Services Center Analyst

JOB SUMMARY

The Employee Services Center Analyst is responsible for the ongoing support of Charter's Onboarding systems and other HR technology platforms. This position includes gathering and documenting requirements, conducting analysis, and assisting with updating the Onboarding systems' content and functionality. The Analyst is also responsible for creating test scripts for Charter and vendor systems, executing testing, and working with the development team to troubleshoot issues. This position will engage with the HR Technology team, vendor resources, and internal key stakeholders. The Analyst will report to the Employee Services Center Manager.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and understand former and current state documentation
  • Manage projects related to systems changes and enhancements
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to document future state processes and requirements and drive progress forward
  • Review and consult on functional and technical requirements for accuracy and completeness
  • Execute change orders for system content updates as requested from client groups
  • Identify, document and escalate projects and/or systems issues as needed
  • Create standard functional specifications and act as the Employee Services Center testing lead
  • Assist with test scripts creation during unit and system integration testing based on various functional specifications of Charter and other vendor systems
  • Collaborate on procedures, systems, and other tools necessary to successfully complete assigned departmental and cross-functional projects
  • Execute assigned projects related to Onboarding, Pre and Post-employment and I-9 system related processes
  • Maintain quality and accuracy of systems performance and reporting procedures
  • Maintain knowledge of the Employee Services Center metrics and recommend changes based on data results
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Experience with iCIMS or similar applicant tracking and onboarding systems
  • Knowledge of pre and post hire activities, e.g. background checks, drug screening, I-9 processing, MVR monitoring, etc.
  • Ability to adhere to established processing timeframes and make decisions independently
  • Experience in data reporting, validation and analysis
  • Experience in continuous process improvement, including technology upgrades and implementation
  • Strong analytical capacity and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interact and partner with staff in various levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strategic thinking skills with demonstrated experience developing and implementing solutions to issues
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Visio, SharePoint and PowerPoint
  • Understanding and demonstrated application of software development life cycle and project methodology
  • Experience working with multi-state shared services organization is desired

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent previous work experience

Related Work Experience

  • 3+ years of experience working in HR, Recruiting or HR technology analyst role
