ABOUT THE JOB:

The Salesforce Technical Analyst, Field Service & Logistics will work with the WillScot's IT and functional teams to develop and implement functionality and enhancements primarily focused on logistics applications within the quote to order fulfillment process. The ideal candidate will advise our business partners on best practices, enhancements, and innovations with regards to the delivery, return, service, installation, and maintenance of WS assets and Essentials. You will work closely with the Logistics Business Analyst, Operations and Logistics business units and the customer applications/logistics development team. The role is responsible for ensuring requests are clearly designed, understood, documented, planned, tested, and implemented while meeting time and quality standards. In this role, you will review the functional business requirements and translate them into technical design requirements to enable the development team to create an accurate technical solution. This role reports directly to the Manager, Technical Analysts, Digital and Customer Applications.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Clearly understand the business use cases for all service and logistics functional roles within the organization, including key responsibilities and how the systems and processes impact the end user and customer experience to define a technically sound solution utilizing the portfolio of applications within the WS environments
  • Have a firm understanding of the technical capabilities of Salesforce Service Cloud, Field Service Lightning, Salesforce maps and any other logistics related applications
  • Work collaboratively with the logistics business analyst and business teams to identify opportunities for logistics improvements
  • Utilizing approved logistics requested business requirement documentation, create design documents to provide an ideal technical solution. All solutions will be reviewed by the technical architects, approved by business and IT leadership and implemented by the development team based on prioritization
  • Collaborate with the business analyst teams to facilitate test scenarios and test cases/scripts
  • Work with the development team, providing detailed level of effort estimates for any proposed solutions while articulating the benefits and risks to the business stakeholders
  • Maintain a catalog of process documentation, identifying key risks and testing requirements to ensure releases do not negatively impact another areas or processes
  • Understand and follow the Enhancement & Defect Governance process to align the team on prioritization, capacity, and release processes
  • Act as a point of escalation for the Service Desk for advanced issue resolution related to logistics applications
  • Provide accurate reporting of project status, issues, and risks during the design and implementation phase
  • Contribute to the Customer Applications Product Strategy and Roadmap in collaboration with our Business Stakeholders and the Senior IT leadership
  • Advocate the adoption of logistics applications and identify technical or process enhancements that will increase operational efficiencies
  • Keep up to date with the new system releases and new features
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
