Position Summary:
Halff has an immediate opening for a Technical Leader supporting our Energy Team. This position is located in Oklahoma City. The ideal candidate for this position will have engineering experience with oil and gas production, gathering, processing, treating, and compression equipment, as well as pipelines and pipeline connections. This is an exciting opportunity with significant potential for growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- PE License in Oklahoma or ability to obtain within 6 months (NCEES record, a plus)
- Must have a minimum 10 years of experience as an engineer in the Oil & Gas industry, consisting of gas processing, gas or liquid treating, compression, and/or pipeline design and integrity.
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who has the willingness and ability to strengthen and develop relationships with new and existing clients through both face-to-face and remote means.
- Must be willing to be heavily involved in projects from business development phase through completion.
- Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint) is required.
- Experience with DOT 192 and PHMSA compliance is a plus.
- Experience with pipeline design and integrity is a plus.
- Experience with API standards for pressure relief & disposal systems is a plus.
- Experience with specification of process instrumentation such as control valves, regulators, flow measurement, temperature/pressure measurement is a plus.
