Halff is seeking a Federal Program Manager in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The selected candidate will be an integral component of our Federal Practice and will work collaboratively with the Federal Practice Leader and other members of the Federal Practice.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB:
The Federal Program Manager is responsible for helping identify new opportunities, supporting various pursuits, assessing, and managing risks on assigned programs, and ensuring program is within cost, schedule, and overall performance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Successfully demonstrate management of geographically dispersed multi-disciplinary, collaborative project design teams comprised of architects, engineers, and specialty consultants.
  • Work with the Federal Practice Leader to evaluate potential opportunities to assist in evaluations and making recommendations for which opportunities to pursue and strategic teaming for successful pursuits
  • Be responsible for all aspects of project management including preparation of fee proposals, work plans/methodologies, scheduling, quality control, and coordination with all team members to ensure successful and timely completion of the project
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration and communications skills with ability to develop strong relationships internally and externally with colleagues and new and existing clients.
  • Work with clients to develop and determine what upcoming projects they may have so that we can strategically plan our team and be prepared for the opportunity.
  • Demonstrate strong financial project management skills


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:


  • General Knowledge of the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC's)
  • Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
  • Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate programs
  • Ability to supervise the work of others effectively
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form


MINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelors in Engineering from an accredited university
  • Professional Engineer preferred
  • Project Management Professional certification preferred
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in the coordination, management and pursuit of Federal architecture and engineering projects
  • Travel will be required
