SUMMARY OF ROLE

Process Engineer will be responsible for preventative maintenance, mold repair, mold maintenance and continuous improvement on all processes as well as other duties as assigned. Must be willing to purchase appropriate hand tools for mold/equipment maintenance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  Coordinating and/or performing mold changes in cooperation with manufacturing?

  Developing and effectively documenting comprehensive mold set-ups?

  Build process documentation database to include pictures, press print out, detailed set-up instructions, relevant notes and pictures as required?

  Develop and institute efficient mold setting practices applying SMED methods?

  Consistent achievement of standard molding cycle times?and part quality??

  Instituting process?data?driven improvements?

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 
  

  Plastic Molding Experience Required?

  
  

• 
  

  High level expert in scientific injection molding process?- Level 3 certification preferred?

  
  

• 
  

  Knowledgeable of safety?protocols including OSHA, ISO and FDA?

  
  

• 
  

  Demonstrated experience with high volume, multi-cavity, thin wall thermoplastic injection molding - CPG industry experience?preferred?

  
  

• 
  

  Candidate?must?have 5+ years of processing experience?and?must?clearly?demonstrate?the ability to build high performing teams?built on?respect, dedication and competence.??The Process?Technician?must also?possess?critical thinking skills, a?passion for process?improvement?and the ownership of actions and outcomes??
