An excellent career opportunity is currently available for an Accounts Payable Coordinator reporting to the Aires Pittsburgh, PA office.

This is an exciting opportunity where you will utilize your accounting experience to process vendor invoices and issue timely payments in effort to maintain credibility with vendors.

Position Responsibilities:



  • Oversees the company American Express Corporate Card Program.
  • Audits and makes payments to corporate vendors and employees in a timely manner.
  • Ensures timely tax payments for both the company and on behalf of client employees.
  • Assists in the processing of referral fee payables.
  • Assists with month end close process.
  • Codes manual payables to the general ledger distributions.
  • Audits system interface file for accuracy of processed vendor invoices.
  • Ensures timely processing and release of urgent payments.
  • Maintains positive partner relationships through timely problem resolution & effective communication.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert and provides support to junior team members.



Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma/GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree with accounting coursework, preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Experience with Concur preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting software preferred
