About This Role:

The Division of Biology at Kansas State University invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Integrative Molecular, Cell or Developmental Biology. We seek an individual who uses creative and interdisciplinary approaches to address fundamental questions that span multiple levels of biological organization. Potential research focus areas include, but are not limited to, evolutionary developmental biology, molecular or cellular biology, and molecular genetics. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a competitive, independent, extramurally funded research program and participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching. This is a nine-month tenure-track position with a target start date of Fall 2025. A competitive startup package will be provided.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:



  • PhD and postdoctoral experience in a relevant biological discipline.
  • Strong track record of research productivity.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse faculty members, staff, graduate students and undergraduate students.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
