Summary / Role Purpose

The Ansys Minerva team has an opportunity for a student to work with a global set of developers, testers, and documentation writers to enable simulation beyond standard ANSYS products. This role helps to assess how well the product meets customer needs both in terms of functionality and usability and ensures that product requirements and quality standards are satisfied as per the company's quality procedures.

This position will be for 40-hours of work per week. The internship will run for 3 months during the summer.

Key Duties and Responsibilities



  • Perform functional and regression testing in manual and/or automated test environments and verify defect fixes
  • IntegrateANSYS tools as well as third party software into the platform to deliver innovative automated workflows.
  • Create and maintain appropriate testing strategies.
  • Experience industry best-practices and real-world projects
  • Other job-related duties as may be assigned by management



Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience



  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering. Similar engineering discipline considered with software development background.
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program that will be returning to university for further study with aGPA of 3.0 or higher



Preferred Qualifications and Skills



  • Some familiarity with a programming language, such as C# or Python/IronPython scripting languages.
  • Experience using testing frameworks that can perform unit and integration tests, like Nunit, Xunit, etc
  • Demonstrate ability to adapt and quickly learn new technologies
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with English fluency
