The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary Reporting to the Division Chief and administratively to the Division Administrator, duties will relate to the functioning and development of The Division of Gynecologic Oncology and will have frequent contact/ communication with all patients. S/he will provide quality care and excellent customer service, collaborating with Physicians to assist in all treatments and procedures, perform preoperative patient interviews and assessments including pre-op instructions, postoperative patient care and instructions, prepare and administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with standards. Observe, report and record patient's condition, reaction to drugs and treatment, compile and record all patient laboratory information. Provide ambulatory chemotherapy administration, foley care; IVs, wound care, etc. Responsibilities
NOTE: This position is scheduled for a full time, four-day work week. Minimum Qualifications Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus five years of related experience. Must have a New York State license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner and maintain and renew when necessary. Board certification required Preferred Qualifications Strong chemotherapy background preferred. Three years specialized oncology experience with knowledge of Gynecologic Oncology preferred.
