In the role of Mobility Administrator, we'll count on you to:

  • Be responsible for the effective and efficient installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of applications, hardware, software, and related infrastructure in support of mobile platforms
  • Contribute to and maintain system standards
  • Research and recommend innovative, and, where possible, automated approaches for tasks
  • Provide Level 2 and 3 support for end users
  • Investigate and troubleshoot complex issues
  • Repair/recover from hardware and software failures, while coordinating and communicating with impacted end users
  • Prepare reports and presentations as needed
  • Be responsible for Mobile Device Management (MDM) infrastructure strategy, planning, design and support for the enterprise
  • Manage overall planning and operations of MDM, including integration into client processes and compliance activities
  • Areas of focus that also include infrastructure and application support and monitoring, maintenance, incident management, change management, problem management, and capacity management, as well as providing guidance on improving and automating the current existing processes
  • Identify automation opportunities, upgrade vendor releases to the MDM infrastructure and clients, provide technical expertise, maintain knowledge base of resolutions, and escalate issues to third-party vendor
  • Assist in planning efforts, process improvements, and testing
  • Perform other duties as needed


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with telecommunications functions and experience with tables, views, indexes, and reports
  • IT server and cloud knowledge: navigation, security, and scripting
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work activities
  • Attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture

Required Qualifications
  • Familiar with Windows, Exchange, Windows Infrastructure (AD, DNS, WINS, DHCP, File & Print, IIS, FTP), SharePoint 2010 and 2016, F5, VMware, etc.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Practical experience in the deployment and operations of mobile solutions in a large, global enterprise
  • Ability to contribute and apply best practices and alternatives to the client mobile environment
  • Ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders, including internal customers and external vendors
  • Ability to understand and assess the dependencies related to supporting complex systems
  • Communicate in a clear, concise, and understandable manner, both orally and in writing
  • Listen carefully and ask questions to understand the views, concerns and comments of others
  • Ability to clearly convey information and ideas to different roles and skill levels to meet the needs of the audience
  • Ability to establish and build healthy working relationships and partnerships with clients, vendors, and peers
  • Self-motivated, agile in adapting to changing work
  • Knowledge of and experience with device management technologies
  • Technical contributor expertise and support planning for infrastructure and applications
  • Must have good analytical skills and a passion for solving difficult, technical problems
  • Must be a self-starter, curious about technology, able to multitask and work independently
  • Ability to work well within a diverse team
