Job Summary/Overview

As a Data & Analytics intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of data analytics to gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets identifying patterns, trends, root cause analysis and correlations to help our business groups make data-driven decisions. You will be working alongside with our BI team in creating dynamic dashboards and analytical data models to support our strategic initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Obtain an understanding of data processes and business data needs.
  • Assist in collecting and organizing data from various sources, including databases, file shares, and external data sets, ensuring accuracy and completeness for analysis.
  • Perform preliminary data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets using statistical and BI tools.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support data driven decision making.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to retrieve information from databases for specific analysis projects, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights through data analysis.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities

  • Excellent communication, teamwork skills, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good understanding of data analysis tools and databases.
  • Strong mathematical/statistical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good Knowledge in SQL, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau...), data analysis tools (Python, R...).

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing bachelor's degree in information system, Data Science or Data Analytics field.
  • Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • Able to work full time (40 hours) from June 3, 2025 to August 9, 2025.
