JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides overall direction to the organization's Quality and Patient Safety Program to ensure that the department meets or exceeds its support obligations to the organization in the areas of quality measurement and improvement, patient safety, risk mitigation, patient advocacy, regulatory readiness and compliance. EXPERIENCE: Healthcare related degree such as MHA, MPH, BSN, MBA with healthcare focus or advanced practice provider degrees preferred; alternative relevant bachelor's level education considered for qualified candidates. 5 years relevant work experience in clinical healthcare. Quality, Patient Safety and Patient Satisfaction experience preferred. Quality certification required within 2 years of hire. Working knowledge of CAH and other regulatory standards in healthcare. Experience with regulatory survey process and development of corrective action plans. Experience with performance improvement methods and tools, group facilitation, project management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint. |
