Role Summary

EQ by Equiniti is seeking a qualified Account Associate to join our Relationship Management teams. We need passionate and engaged individual(s) to join our team and help us continue to drive our success forward. The ideal candidate(s) will take initiative, seek out learning opportunities and is comfortable working in a self-directed manner. As a member of the Relationship Management Team, the Account Associate works side by side with Relationship Managers, Product Management, Sales, Operations and Legal.

Business Function

This role is the primary interface with customers of EQ Shareowner Services. This position partners with a Relationship Manager to be the face of our organization to our clients. This position is responsible for day-to-day client inquiries and requests, providing reports and lists, Client balancing inquiries, updates in Client Authorized signer, assisting with document collection and answering/placing inbound & outbound phone calls to customers.

The Account Associate role is a key function to support EQ's growth objectives and offers the individual a great opportunity for future career growth with EQ.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

  • Creating memos (dividend, proxy, non-proxy) and following through completion
  • Working with Operations departments on a monthly basis to obtain monthly stats (i.e. volumes, KPI's) for Monthly management reports and or SLA's, and assist to put information together
  • Processing client directed Issuer /shareholder inquiries and transaction requests.
  • Ad hoc client reports
  • Assist Relationship Manager (RM) with billing inquiries / research.
  • Assisting with document collection and in keeping Unity (salesforce) updated
  • Work daily with the assigned RM team on the day's request and or projects that may come in.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
  • Solid problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

Education Requirements

  • BA/BS degree is preferred
  • Financial services and/or securities industry experience

Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: trust, financial services, legal or account management
  • Experience in communications and interactions with individuals at various levels within an organization, including but not limited to senior leaders.

Compensation:$29.00 - $31.00 hourly
