What you'll do:

The Strategic & Reputational Risk Management (SRM) Senior Analyst will be responsible for supporting change risk oversight and program reporting to senior management and the board in line with regulatory and board expectations, The Senior Risk Analyst will also assist with Risk-specific LFI Transformation initiatives, such as compiling workstream updates and reporting to the LFI Transformation Office. The successful candidate will partner effectively across all Lines of Defense and be aligned with relevant 1LOD functions, such as the LFI Transformation Office, Change Management, HR, Treasury, IT, and Business Controls & Testing.

The Strategic & Reputational Risk team is part of the Bank's wider Risk Management department and a rapidly growing team focused on providing expert guidance, credible challenge, and effective oversight of risk-taking activities throughout the Bank. The Risk Management department plays a critical role in helping to inform bank management and the Board of Directors of the risks inherent in its actions and decisions, enterprise impacts, and opportunities to manage risk.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Strategic & Reputational Risk, the ideal candidate will be eager to learn, curious, able to comprehensively synthesize and communicate information, as well as driven to continuously improve.

What we are looking for:

Responsibilities

  • Perform qualitative research and develop written risk reports including Strategic & Reputational Risk team committee/board deliverables (e.g., Risk Appetite Statement KRI reporting, Large Financial Institution Readiness updates).
  • Support enterprise regulatory relations and remediation activities, focused on program reporting deliverables.
  • Participate in enterprise risk programs such as Risk & Controls Self-Assessments (RCSAs), Issue Management, and Risk Appetite, focused on change and people risks.
  • Support change risk oversight, review, and challenge of the LFI Transformation Office through all change lifecycle stages (e.g., initiation, planning, execution).
  • Risk-specific LFI Transformation initiatives, such as compiling workstream updates and reporting to the LFI Transformation Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of direct or related experience in Risk Management, Internal Audit, Finance, Public Accounting, or Management Consulting.
  • Excellent written and presentation/PPT development skills.
  • Knowledge of general banking operations and governance practices, industry trends, competitive landscape, and corporate strategy.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
