Position Highlights Join our dynamic team as the Customer Service Lead for Meal Plans, where you'll play a key role in supporting students, parents, and staff with meal plan questions and transactions. You'll have the opportunity to lead and train a team of student workers, represent the Meal Plan Office at exciting campus events, and ensure a smooth, high-quality customer experience. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide information and support to students, parents, and staff regarding Meal Plans, addressing questions or concerns.
  • Process in-person transactions and make plan changes as needed.
  • Ensure a top-notch customer experience by training student staff and maintaining adherence to customer service standards.
  • Identify and resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Serve as the primary resource for Meal Plans, understanding the mechanics of each plan and the Arizona Student Unions dining options.
  • Schedule, plan, and deliver presentations to the campus community, prospective students, and parents about Meal Plans.
  • Represent the Meal Plan Office at tabling events, new student orientations, move-in, and other student-related events.
  • Monitor office supply levels and promotional materials, placing orders as needed.
  • Complete end-of-day reconciliation of in-person transactions and manage daily banking procedures.
  • Assist with reconciling online transactions to ensure accurate billing and plan application.
  • Maintain the student worker schedule to ensure appropriate coverage for the Meal Plan Office and events.
  • Train student workers on customer service and office procedures.
  • Generate reports, including unused balance reports, daily sales, and plan changes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilites

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends during busy seasons.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Skill in public speaking
  • Advanced knowledge in computer programs including Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel and other spreadsheet programs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
