BBSI, in collaboration with a renowned manufacturing company in Riverside, is on the hunt for a dynamic and highly skilled Plant Controller to drive financial excellence and support the company's strategic growth. As the Plant Controller, you'll lead the financial operations of the plant, overseeing everything from general accounting to financial analysis, internal controls, and audits. Your leadership will guide the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while improving processes and maintaining compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of plant-level financial statements, reports, and presentations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Partner with business leaders to align financial reporting with strategic goals, providing key insights and training to non-financial leaders.
  • Establish, monitor, and enforce internal controls, safeguarding company assets and ensuring compliance.
  • Lead budgeting processes, analyzing data, and recommending corrective actions to meet budget objectives.
  • Manage and develop the finance team, ensuring leadership for the current and future financial functions of the plant.
  • Improve financial reporting processes, enhance accuracy, and contribute to strategic business decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with a focus on manufacturing.
  • Proven leadership in a medium-sized manufacturing business.
  • Strong understanding of costing standards, variance analysis, and financial systems (experience with NAV is a plus).
  • A collaborative leader who excels at partnering with senior leadership and contributing to strategy.
  • Private equity experience and CPA certification preferred but not required.
