We seek a Drug and Alcohol Counselor to join our team in our Germantown Ave - Philadelphia, PA location.
Earn between $23 - $26/hr. - depending on education level!
Position Details
* Strong clinical skills with the ability to facilitate group and individual therapy
* Ability to manage a caseload of People In Recovery (PIR) and have knowledge of their treatment progress, engagement level, and treatment needs.
* Strong clinical documentation skills and ability to maintain PIRs chart meeting program, local, state, and federal documentation requirements and standards.
* Effective and timely communication with Supervisors, Case Managers, and Certified Peer Specialists on PIRs needs and as resources or obtained and/or changed.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree or higher in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychology, addictions studies, social work or related field with specialty or concentration in counseling; Master's degree is preferred.
* One (1) year of counseling experience in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting.
* Licensure or certification will need to be achieved within two to three (2 - 3) years of hire.
