We're looking for a Video and Podcast Producer to take our storytelling to the next level. You'll lead our visual and auditory content, transforming complex legal topics into engaging and accessible narratives. Whether capturing the essence of a groundbreaking legal tech solution or interviewing a thought leader on sustainability, you'll be at the heart of our mission to connect with clients and colleagues (both current and future) in meaningful ways. As we expand our content creation efforts, we aim to build a distinctive style that reflects our innovative spirit and commitment to excellence. This is about more than showcasing our legal expertise; it's about crafting a unique narrative that resonates with our clients, internal team and prospective talent - and advances our business strategies. What will you do?



Responsibilities

    Plan Campaigns: Identify opportunities to use multimedia to advance our key thought leadership, recruiting and internal communications campaigns.
  • Lead the Charge: Oversee all aspects of video and podcast production, from brainstorming ideas to lining up guests to the final edit.
  • Craft Compelling Stories: Collaborate with our team, our clients and our friends in the community to script captivating content, including interviews, educational series and highlight reels, as well as must-listen podcast series with leading authorities.
  • Coordinate Production: Manage schedules, gear and on-camera talent to ensure each project runs smoothly, whether it's a studio shoot, an on-location interview or a podcast recording.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep us on the cutting edge by monitoring emerging trends and technologies, including AI integration.
  • Inspire Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across the Business Development Team and the firm to integrate multimedia content into our broader storytelling.
  • Coach Our Team in Effective Video and Podcast Presentation Skills: Provide in-the-moment feedback to professionals at all levels of our firm.
  • Build Partnerships: Evaluate and coordinate with third-party vendors to bring in additional capabilities when needed.
  • Manage Projects: Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Write: It's a multimedia world, and you will will develop all campaign content related to video and podcasts and also contribute to other writing projects as needed.
  • Develop the Visual Brand: Work with our Creative Team to develop graphics, brand our content and create a distinctive style for our multimedia content.
  • Measure: Work with our digital metrics specialists to measure and report ROI, ensuring future projects are informed by engagement metrics.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is between $113,000 to $134,000.

Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick's estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
