Department Overview

The Corporate Affairs department consists of our Federal Affairs, State Affairs, and Regulatory Affairs organizations. Corporate Affairs supports the Utility's leadership and implements direction from PG&E's executive team, board of directors, and core lines of business by engaging with state and federal regulators, elected officials, and other stakeholders to achieve regulatory and legislative outcomes in support of the Company's strategic objectives.

Position Summary

Provide administrative support to one or more Executives and Directors. All employees are responsible for performing their jobs in accordance with PG&E's vision and values.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.

A reasonable salary range is:

Bay Area Minimum: $102,000
Bay Area Maximum: $162,000

Job Responsibilities

* Reports to and assists an Executive
* Understands and supports the multiple complex company-wide functions or operating units reporting into the Executive
* Maintains Operating Review boards, including tracking of training and action items
* Strong bias for organization and efficiency
* Mentor other administrative support personnel
* Travel and event arrangements are often made for multiple leadership and other employees, frequently with associated logistical complexities that include coordinated ground transportation, multiple destinations and hotels, foreign destinations, group activities and event arrangements.
* Meeting or conference arrangements include hotel or other conference facilities for large groups, with logistical complexities that may include coordinating speakers, special guests outside of PG&E, site specific requirements determination, evaluation and selection, field trips, post conference excursions and event activities.
* Monitor and process expenses, scrutinizing against policy
* Understand unique officer related office space and setup requirements; influence PG&E building and asset personnel to meet officer specific needs.
* Frequently resolves scheduling conflicts by evaluating and judging business needs and priorities, working with other Executive and Sr. Executive Assistants as well as with business leaders and others across the company.
* Often works proactively, anticipating needs, and coordinating administrative and professional support.
* Proofreading documents and emails for grammatical errors and typos.
* Submitting personnel and organizational changes for the department.

Qualifications

Minimum:
* High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma
* 5 or more years of administrative support experience required, 2 or more years of experience supporting Sr. Director level preferred.

Desired:

* Competent use of Microsoft Tools: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
* Associates Degree or equivalent experience
* Experience in supporting senior director-level leader or above, 2 years
