Job Objective:
Supervises and schedules maintenance and I&E crews to deliver Kenai Onshore Maintenance Program.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Supervises inspections and testing of machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Supervises set-up, operation, and repair of oil field machines and equipment and adjusts controls that regulate operational functions to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Records and maintains production, repair, and machine maintenance information. Communicates with or assists other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment.
- Generates job scope, plan and costs for larger projects. Reviews plan and cost with foreman prior to job execution.
- Provides on the job leadership and mentorship of less experienced maintenance techs and contract crews
- Reads work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance. Develops work orders as needed to meet compliance and reliability specs.
- Inspects or tests damaged oil field equipment and machine parts, and marks defective areas and/or advises supervisor of need for repair.
- Installs equipment, pipelines and facilities, as assigned.
- Provides site level safety leadership. Ensures pre-job JSA's are properly conducted. Inspects critical equipment prior to job execution
- Accurately tracks job costs in Siteview for AFE projects
- Quickly processes field tickets and invoices
- Notifies foreman of project scope changes or expected additional project costs
- Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).

Qualifications:
- Ten (10) years minimum of maintenance experience, welding, and/or electrical operations of oil and gas production field equipment.
- Ability to work long hours in order to cover/monitor assigned field territory.
- Requires supervision, direction, and training for the conduct of most of, if not all, job responsibilities.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
- Demonstrates competence in all aspects of the routine and non-routine tasks required.
- Ability to consider safety in all decisions.
- Ability to make independent, rational decisions, as required.
- Ability to maintain the integrity of the field processes.

Education Requirements:
- Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability and skill to handle the duties and responsibilities of the position.
