OverviewThe AI Platform organization at Microsoft builds the end-to-end Azure AI stack/PaaS and is core to Azure's innovation and differentiation, as well as all of Microsoft's flagship products, from Office to Teams, to Xbox. We are looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer- AI Platform to assit the team in building Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, Cognitive Services, and the global Azure AI infrastructure for running the largest AI workloads on the planet. Within AI Platform, the Azure ML team enables data scientists and developers to quickly and easily build, train, deploy, manage, and consume machine learning model. Our Azure Machine Learning Training and Finetuning Team is at the forefront of this mission, working on groundbreaking projects for finetuning of Azure OpenAI and OSS models. ResponsibilitiesAs a Software Engineer on our team, you will drive the design, development, and support of the platform that powers Azure Machine Learning and Azure OpenAI. You'll work across teams to help make the whole organization successful. Your responsibilities will include the following: Design, implement, and support scalable, reliable, high-performance servicesWrite clean and concise code with unit testsDesign, implement, and support new features as well as extend existing systemsInvestigate live site issues and implement and deploy fixesParticipate in an on-call rotationDrive quality engineering via code reviews and design discussionsOtherEmbody our culture and values | |
